Irvin Hinners Obituary

Irvin C. Hinners VIRGINIA BEACH - Irvin C. "Chuck" Hinners, 65, passed away Nov. 25, 2009. A native of New Kensington, Pa., he was the son of the late Irvin and Clara Hinners. He retired form the United States Navy having served during Vietnam. At the time of his passing, he was working at Walmart in Virginia Beach. Chuck was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a great friend and father to his sons. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine M. Hinners; his mother, Clara Gianinni of Cincinnati; two sons, Gregory C. Hinners and Patrick J. Hinners and wife Michelle, all of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Dick Hinners of Ohio and Tom Hinners of New York; four grandchildren, Alex, Matthew, Kyle and Lindsey; and his dog, Max. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Centennial, CO 80112.
