Joseph Foti

Joseph G. Foti VIRGINIA BEACH - Retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Joseph G. Foti, 75, our loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 7, 2009. A native of Montpelier, Vt., he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a colonel after 27 years of service. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Family. He is survived by his father, Joseph W. Foti of Barre, Vt.; his wife, Joan M. Foti; son, Joseph J. Foti, both of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Patricia Roberts of Fair Oaks, Calif.; three grandchildren, Joey, Sammy and Erika; a brother, Robert Foti; and two sisters, Marilyn Bishop and Anne Dvorak. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Foti. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to our friends at Heartland Home Health & Hospice for their loving care.
