Willie Scott Obituary

Willie E. Scott NORFOLK - Willie E. Scott, 65, of the 5800 block of Frament Ave., passed away Dec. 8, 2009. "Pete the Cookie Man," as he was known, was born April 7, 1944 to the late William and Velma Scott in Norfolk County. He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Beverly McCall, Ozella Scott and Nicole Berry; two sons, Willie Berry and Travis Holloway; nine brothers, William, Randolph (Eulah), Sterling (Theresa), Vaughn Scott, Curtis, Marvin (Nedra), Kelvin, Donald and Michael (Lynne) Hill; five sisters, Celestine Davenport, Patricia Scott, Antionette Burton (David), Carla Ferguson and Carroll Coe; special aunt, Cynthia Acevedo; special friend, Eunice Riddick; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Monday in New Mount Olive AME Church, 1953 Campostella Road. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1212 Dragon Lane, Chesapeake, one hour prior to the service for the procession to the church. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
