Augustina Sarino Obituary

Augustina R. Sarino VIRGINIA BEACH - Augustina R. Sarino, 92, passed away Dec. 9, 2009. She was born in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines, Aug. 28, 1917, the only child of Agatona De Castro and Julian Reynosa. Also known as Nanay Tinay or Lola, she was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Augustina was happily married and has joined her husband of 67 years, Avelino Sarino. They are survived by six children, Rogelio, Felimon, Teodorita, Eleanor, Reyly and Avelino Jr.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren. The viewing will be held at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 5 to 9 p.m. and a wake will be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Father Tim Kuhneman of Holy Spirit, and everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
