I met Norris in 1989 when I joined the staff of Teamsters Local 237 in New York City, where he was the director of the Housing Division and a trustee of the union. I hadn't seen him since he retired in the early 1990s, but I remember him as very principled man who fought hard for the interests of our members. Those of us who knew him are all sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Ms.Combs and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Norris. I have been blessed to have just known Norris, for he was surely a loving and caring man, who was also blessed to have his life long partner beside him to the end. Though it may not feel like it at times; you two will continue to be inseperable. I truly thank you for allowing us the opportunity to offer support for you and your family in anyway that may be needed. Please know that you are not alone. I am just around the corner. I love you. You stay strong and call me as needed. Lenora London and Family

Hello Madeline,
I was sorry to hear about Norris passing. Mama has kept me informed. I tried to call you but understood the burden you were under. You are in my love and prayers.
