Patricia Batkins Obituary

Patricia W. Batkins VIRGINIA BEACH - Patricia Faith Wood Batkins, 62, our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 13, 2009. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Teddy Batkins and his wife Christine; her daughter, Joelle Williams and her husband Chris and her youngest daughter, Ragan Batkins; her sister, Ann Carroll; four brothers, Jerry Wood, Charles Wood, Larry Wood and Bill Wood; her grandchildren, Samantha, Courtney, Chelsea, Colby, Hunter, Savannah, Emily, Blake, and Lindsey; her first great-grandchild, Jayden; many nieces and nephews. Her children would like to say a special thanks to her granddaughter, Samantha, for her loving care during her time of need. A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, Dec. 19, at her daughter Joelle's home from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother the last time I spoke with her she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Your mother and I were best friends from 7th grade on up I will cherish the memories. God Bless

Teddy & family,
I am so sorry to here about the passing of your dear mother. I know it is very difficult at this time, but you can find comfort in knowing that you were a wonderful son in all that you did by taking care of your mother through the years. God bless.

We just wanted to say that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry to hear about the lose of your Mother, Grandmother and your best friend.Pat was a wonderful person in side and out.I myself remember alot of wonderful things about Pat. We Hope that the loving memories you have will help you through this hard time. And always remember she will be with you and watching over you.
