Maggie Green Obituary

Maggie Lamb Green NORFOLK - Maggie Lamb Green, 91, of the 2800 block of Middle Towne Crescent, went home to be with her Lord Dec. 15, 2009. She was born June 7, 1918, in Norfolk. Maggie was a member of the Historic First Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a deaconess and with various other ministries. She is survived by one daughter, Carlean Green Walker; one son, Wendell T. Green; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Monday in the Historic First Baptist Church, 418 E. Bute St. Dr. Robert G. Murray will officiate. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
