Lindsey Tweedy Obituary

Lindsey A. Tweedy Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Lindsey "LJ" Alfred Tweedy Jr., 69, passed away Dec. 18, 2009. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as the service manager for the Hall Auto Group. Mr. Tweedy was the originator and executive member of the Sunrise Hunt Club. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eleanor "LA" Tweedy; three children, Lynne Tweedy, E. Lee Tweedy and Robbie Graham Campbell; two grandsons, Michael and Tyler; two great-granddaughters, Kylee and Neveah; and four sisters, Dottie Feldman, Delores Hacke, Marion Sawyer, and Letha Marquez. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A reception for the family will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com.

LA and Family,
God looked down and said it is time. I lost a very dear friend and thank God for the time he gave us together this year especialy in October. Al will truly be missed by us all and I look forward to seeing him again one day.
