Gloria Weaver

Gloria M. Weaver PORTSMOUTH - Gloria M. Weaver, 82, departed this life peacefully Dec. 19, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Crispolo Bugarin; her husband of 60 years, Hubert O. Weaver; her brother, Robert Bugarin; and her grandson, Brian Simpson. Gloria lived in Portsmouth for 80 years and was a member of Elm Avenue Methodist Church and a charter member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She is survived by her four children, Robert Weaver, who was her primary caregiver for the past six years, and his wife Frances, Linda Simpson and her husband Jimmie, Bonnie Weaver and Terri Marks. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jimmie Simpson III, Linda Weaver, Cathy Blystone, Kimberly Weaver, Robin Sweeney, Casey Feldhausen, Zachary Marks and Justin Weaver and eight great- grandchildren. A funeral will be held today, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
