Ema Lou was one of the finest women I have ever know in my life. She was an inspiration to me from the first time I met her at First Presbyterian in the early 60's. She "adopted" me as one of her own, as well as my son Eddie and when my daughter Erika was born, she was added to Emma Lou's family. I have wonderful memories of sharing time with Emma Lou and Sara Pilcher. When my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, Emma Lou was one of the first people to call and pray with me. She sent Erika funny cards and Bible verses and notes to me. When Patricia died Emma Lou wrote me a letter sharing a poem she had wriiten about her daughter. I keep it in a special place and think of her each time I read it.
Everyone who knew Emma Lou has been Blessed.
