We are long time friends of Sue and Don. She was choir director when Frances was in the Foundry UMC choir.
and we square danced with Sue and Don and best of all , we are dear friends.
When we think of Sue we have many fond memories..among them is her love for music. She believed in the extraordinary power of music. In this day of fast information and communication, music nourishes our inner souls. Music makes us show strength and passion.
Music can help change the world around us and Sue did just that.
We will miss her but we can hear her sound of music in heaven if we have faith and really listen.
We love Sue and her family.

Dear Family,
I met Sue ten years ago when I joined Lake Gaston Ladies Club and grew to love her when I joined Gastonettes. She had the ability to motivate and encourage always with the most endearing smile and sincerity. Music was truly her passion and helping others feel and enjoy it her goal. She achieved this goal with me and the Gastonettes.
Sue was also active in the other activities that I belong to such as Bookers, Stage I and Ladies Club; all of which were made better through her participation.
Sue will be greatly missed in my life but all that she has given me will be with me forever and I shall always think of her as an "Earth Angel."
All of you, her family and Don especially, should feel Special that God chose Sue to be your wife and mother. God Bless You!

Im not really sure where to begin, but Mrs. B. was a true family friend and someone I truly looked up to throughout my life. She was a neighbor, my choir director and so much more. My family and I spent a many a weekends wwith her and her family up at lake gaston. Mrs. B even taught me to waterski when I was young. I remember her smile and kind ways. She will truly be missed by so many. I can still picture her standing at the podium directing our youth choir making sure we were always smiling. I pray her family will find a way to manage through these hardtimes. Rest in Peace Mrs. B. and know that you have touched so many lives in a positive way and you will be thought of dearly.

To the Beazley and Ratcliff families,
I did not know Sue very well but always knew her to be a cheerful, loving and giving person. She will be missed by all, especially the FABS.

Dearest Don and family, a light has gone out of all our lives with Sue gone. All I can say is for me personally to try and be as confident in everything I do as she always made me feel, is my way of dealing with this tragedy. Her love of life and everyone she shared it with is such and example for us all. Thank you ,her family, for sharing her with us. She will always have a special place in all our hearts.

Don and family, We cannot imagine your loss at this time--we feel a great loss as well. We've lost a neighbor, a great talent, but, most importantly, a friend. Please know that Lewis and I will have you in our thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come and that we will be right here at Lake Gaston to help you in any way we can. We love you...Marie, Lewis, and Adam

Mrs B. was a big part of my life. I grew up across the street from Mrs. B and spent many summer vacations with her and her familhy. I spent many a Christmas dinners with her as well. She even taught me how to waterski when I was a teenager. She was truly one of the sweetest people I have ever known in my lifetime. She always had a smile on her face whenever she was around. She will be truly missed by many. I truly feel that she is an angel of God now and all who knew her would agree that she is definitely a true guardian angel for many. I love you Mrs. B and will never forget how much you touched my life.
