Diane,
I was so shocked and very sorry to hear of cousin Bud's recent diagnosis, surgery, and passing. We just never know when our time on earth comes to an end. The memories of you and Bud joining us for family fellowship and gatherings were so special to me. I always looked forward to seeing and visiting with you when you came to North Carolina--I cherish every moment. I had planned to attend the services; however, I came down with a terrible cold on Friday and it just kept getting worse as the days passed. On Monday morning when I got up, I said no way do I feel like making the trip to Virginia. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for divine comfort and strength in the days ahead. Take care and keep in touch. A Loving Cousin

Dear Diane,
I was so sorry to hear that your husband had passed away. I know you will miss him greatly. I was out of town and didn't know about his passing until today. If there is anything I can do for you or you'd like to just talk, please don't hesitate to call me. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
