Mildred Laham Obituary

Mildred Woodfin Laham VIRGINIA BEACH - Mildred Woodfin Laham, 88, the daughter of the late Willard L. and Ruby W. Woodfin, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, at her residence. She was a lifelong native of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. She is survived by her husband, Albert K. Laham and her children Nancy D. Villano and her husband Richard of Greensboro, N.C., Dalene D. Robinson and her husband Les of Ellicott City, Md., Rayna D. Brite and her husband Tommy of Elizabeth City, N.C., Donald V. Byars of Virginia Beach and Amy L. Motko and her husband Mike of Orlando, Fla. She has 11 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Willard "Dick" Woodfin and his wife Bernice of Virginia Beach and a cousin, Doris Beaton of Newport News. A funeral will be conducted at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, on Monday, April 26, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Russell Holland will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your favorite charity will be appreciated. Condolences may be offered to the family at www. altmeyer.com.
