Janie Blevins Obituary

Janie L. Blevins CHESAPEAKE - Janie L. Blevins, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. She was a native of Smyth County and was a resident of Chesapeake for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Blevins Sr.; her sons, William G. Blevins Jr. and David Shane Blevins; her parents, Logan and Lillian Bush; her brothers, Stephen and Alan Bush; and her sister, Geva O'Connor. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Lori A. Judkins; her grandchildren, Chad Blevins and Amber Judkins; great-granddaughter, Layla Blevins; her sister, Susan Cox of Independence; and her brother-in- law, Michael P. Long and his wife Marie. Friends are encouraged to visit www.parklawn-woodfh. com to share memories and words of condolence with the family. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at Parklawn Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum. Entombment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666.

Dear Lori, Chad & family
So sorry about the loss of Janie. I know she was a wonderful mother. I remember all of you when you were in to visit your grandparents and Allen. Janie was blessed with a beautiful family. All of you are in my heart and prayers.
