June Kearly Obituary

June Sadin Kearley VIRGINIA BEACH - June Elisabeth Sadin Kearley, 60, passed away May 2, 2010 in a local hospital. A native of Kensington, Conn., she was the daughter of Viola and the late Paul Sadin. She was a 1967 graduate of Berlin High School in Berlin, Conn., and attended American University, University of Maryland and the University of Hawaii. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church where she led All Saints Episcopal Church Scholarship Review Committee and All Saints Parish Life. She worked for the American Red Cross in Newport, R.I., and volunteered many years for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. She is survived by her husband, retired U.S. Navy Capt. John James Kearley; two daughters, Emily Elizabeth Kearley and Leslie Julia Kearley, both of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Paul Sadin Jr. and wife Susie of Seattle; mother-in-law, Mary Rose Kearley, sister-in-law Rosemary Holland and husband Steve Holland; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Stanley Sawyer officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
