Mary Jones Obituary

Mary Pribble Jones VIRGINIA BEACH - On May 19, 2010, heaven's gates opened and took home another angel, our Mom, Gran, Nana, Mary Pribble Jones, 80, who went to be with her sweetheart of 56 years, our Dad, Harry B. Jones Sr. and her grandson, Mason W. Jones. She was born in Buena Vista, Va., to the late Addie and Maude Tolley Pribble. She is survived by her children, Darlene V. Bowles, Harry B. Jones Jr., Rose Mary Gates (Sam), Jennifer Jones, Cynthia Sue Moore (John) and Matthew Jones (Kim); grandchildren, Jimmy, Lisa (Michael), Lil Sam (Wendy), Jason, Courtney (Karl), Kristina (Randy), Michael, Melissa (Derald), Melanie, Keesha, Nicholas (Lisa), Christopher (Christina), Sarah (Jeremy), Bryan and Kyle; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, June Stevenson; brother, Claude Pribble; sister-in-law, Elsie Wigginton; and her special buddy, Larry Chatman. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. At the request of the family, memorial contributions should be made to the American Lung Association of Virginia, 5349 E. Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502. Online viewing of the service will be available. Please light a candle and leave a note to the family in her "Book of Memories" at www.grahamfuneralhome.com.
