Yvonne,
I don't know if you will see this, it has been so long, but when I googled you and found Jon's obit I had to express by sadness for your loss. Jon was such a good man. He once sat by the phone all night for me, waiting for my gas to be cut on so I could have heat. Of course the gas company did'nt cooperate. I'll always smile to th ink of his love for super big gulps and for his family. A purely good hearted person. Ii hope to one day get to the other side so i can make him another pie :-)

Dear Ms. Yvonne & Family,

Mr. Jon was such a wonderful person! He blessed so many lives while he was here and even in his death he will continue to be a blessing to everyone who had the pleasure to know him. I am praying for Christ's loving peace to find you and the entire family. I wanted to share this poem because I always find comfort in this poem when I lose someone I love.

God Bless and Love,
Sandra Thomas & kids (Rodney II, Sydney & Courtney)

Miss me, but let me go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go

For this is a journey that we must all take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home

When you are lonely, and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me - but let me go

Jon was such a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Although our relationship was a long distance one, I always knew he was there for me and for all. I remember writing to him every week while he was in Viet Nam and sending care packages. I also remember the gorgeous jewelry box he sent me from over there. I remember him standing tall and proud at the christenings of his children.
He will be so missed by those who knew him in any way. I know Susan was there waiting for him and he'll be waiting for us when it is our time to join the Lord. I so admire the way he lived his life and his death.
My love to Yvonne, Laurie, Todd, Rob, Madison and all the family. I wish I could be there with you but you know you are always in my prayers.

Mrs. Belding & Madison,
Jon Belding was a really good friend of mine. He was there for me when I was sick and in the hospital, so I will always remember him in my heart.

Robbie

Yvonne,
I just wanted to tell you how much you and Jon have touched our lives. You were a tremendous support for Robbie and me over the last year. I will miss him dearly and he will always hold a place in my heart. I wish we could be there with you during this time, but we are heading out of town to visit JB who is working in South Carolina. Robbie and I would love to come visit in a few days so we can both give you a big hug. We love you and we will pray for you.

Love,
Judy
