Lois Dougherty Obituary

Lois Dougherty CHESAPEAKE - Lois Dougherty, 77, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., went to be with the Lord June 1, 2010 in Chesapeake. A native of Chocowinity, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Lence Edward and Maggie Mary Cannady Toler and a member of Raleigh Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Frederick R. Dougherty; two sons, Craig Dougherty and his fiancée Virginia of Virginia Beach and Kevin Dougherty and his wife Lorri of Suffolk; four grandchildren, Ashley Holloman and her husband Brian, Kyle Dougherty, Brittany Dougherty and Lindsey Dougherty; and one great-grandson, Landon Holloman. A funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Raleigh Heights Baptist Church, 1000 Crowell Ave., Chesapeake, with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 11 to 12:30 p.m. Graham Funeral Home will be caring for the family.
