Robert George Obituary

Robert Lee George VIRGINIA BEACH - Robert Lee George, 68, of Elizabeth City, husband of Linda Martin, passed away June 7, 2010. He was born in Douglasville, Ga., to the late Sanford and Nellie George. Bob retired from the Navy in 1985 after 27 years of honorable service to his nation and was employed by LPI Technical Services. He is survived by his wife, Linda Martin of Elizabeth City; son, Tony and wife Stephanie of Virginia Beach; son, Kenneth of Danville, Va.; daughter, Sharon and husband Donny Falkenberg of Elizabeth City; daughter, Deborah George and fiancé Jerry Hilliard of Norfolk; his siblings from Douglasville, Ga., Jackie Portwood, Jimmy George, William George, Linda George, Becky Fagan, and Ronnie George; nine grandchildren, Shanesha, Timothy, Tyler, TJ, Kyle, Kalynn, Gavin, Jacob, Bailey; and one great-grandchild, Reagan. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www. hollomon-brown.com.
