Skyler Ayers Obituary

Skyler W. Ayers CHESAPEAKE - Skyler Wayne Ayers, 25, went to be with the Lord June 16, 2010 at home. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Janeen Ayers; a brother, Dylan S. Ayers; maternal grandparents, Olivia and Paul Teja; grandfather, Melvin Ayers; two uncles, Randy and Reggie Ayers; three aunts, Yordanos Wolderufael, Trish Ayers and Nicole Ayers; four nieces and two nephews. He received an associate's degree in biomedical equipment engineering from ECPI, and was working on a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Memorial contributions may be made to Edgehill Recovery Retreat Center in Winchester, Va. Please light a candle and leave a note to the family in his "Book of Memories" at www.grahamfuneralhome. com.

I met Skyler when he was a teenager, through my son Erik. He always stood out from the bunch. I was impressed by his dedication to school and how hard he worked to achieve his goals. I am saddened to hear of his passing,my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Skyler was a great person. I knew him for 15 years and will always cherish the memories I have. I am deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but now he can watch over all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with his family which was also like my family for a long time. I will always be here for you guys!. Skyler you are very loved and will be deeply missed.
