Charles E. Seader Sr. WINDSOR - Capt. Charles "Chuck" Edmond Seader Sr., 68, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Blanche Seader; sister, Lucille "Lou" Mathieson, Dorothy and Evelyn Seader; and brothers, Edward "Ed" Seader and Conrad "Buddy" Seader. Captain Chuck was a retired tugboat captain, member of the Portsmouth Moose Lodge, and attended Bethany Presbyterian Church in Zuni. He is survived by his wife, Susan Barrett Seader; children, Denise Lancaster and husband, Shawn, Blanche Buck, Charles Seader Jr., Edward Hausmann and wife Janet, Frances Welsh, and Shirlee Luter and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Shanah Stremmet, Jenny and Shawn Buck, Dylan and Jessika Seader, Matthew Hausmann, Dennis Engel, Kelsi Welsh, Clay and Travis Hurley, T.J. and Trent Luter, Jason Lawrence, Josh Davis, Melanie Stanley, Rachel Gibbs, and Nick and Brittany Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Bradley Stanley, Alana and Bryson Buck, Kaileigh Rigdon, Isabella, Mia, Adam Moffit, Brennon Christenbury, Haleigh and Jaydin Davis; and siblings, Charlotte Trammel, Lamarr "Butch" Seader, Fred Seader, Brian Seader, Francis "Peck" Seader, and Georgina Phillips. The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Wakefield today, June 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Zuni by the Rev. Douglas L. Van Niel. There will be a reception for family and friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
