When I think of Mr. Koeppen, I smile. He was a superb educator who inspired me to a lifetime of learning, and he enlightened me to see the best of what life had to offer. I fed his fish in the mornings, and on many lunch times, was his accompanist on the piano as he played the french horn. He loved to play Romance by Rubinstein. As a former President of the Fine Arts Club, he broadened my knowledge of the Arts into a lifetime passion and became a dear friend after graduation. I must say he was the best. I will so miss him. Blessings to his family during this difficult time, but know he profoundly influenced his students for a lifetime.

Mr. Koeppen was my Biology teacher at Cox High School as well as the advisor to our Fine Arts Club. While I have had many teachers over the years, he is one of the few teachers that I vividly recall...and recall with thankfullness that he took time to care and share with his students in class and in the Fine Arts Club. I was hoping to see him again at our 40th reunion in 2 weeks. May his family find peace during this difficult time...he was a wonderful man and teacher.

While I never had Mr. Koeppen as my teacher, I knew him because of the 'Fine Arts Club'. Always a friendly man and very informative. I am sorry for the loss of this very nice man and teacher. Bless the family and friends for his loss.
