Mrs. Pearce and Family,

I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Pearce's passing from my former classmate/teammate, George Councill. I had the great honor and pleasure of having Mr. Pearce for my basketball coach when he first arrived at Franklin High School (1966 - 1968). Although we were sorely disappointed that we did not go farther in our district tournament in 1968 after winning the regular season title, those are times that I shall never forget. Mr. Pearce was truly a good coach and a fine man.

My sincere sympathy goes out to you and to your family. I shall never forget Coach Pearce.

Sincerely,

John (Johnny) Finley

Peggy and Chris, I am so saddened by your loss. You all were such a wonderful part of our lives during your brief time in Gaston and I cherish memories of all our times together. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Charles' death. We grew up in the community of Cedar Rock & lived on the same road. My deepest sympathy to his family.
