I grew up as a friend of Gary's and had not seen him since I left for College in 1964, but I remember him well and may his family have the blessings of peace during this time of sadness.

I knew Gary for close to 30 years. I remember meeting him for the 1st time at a Murcheson show in Wilmington, North Carolina. Over the years fished with him and drank a few beers with him.
