I knew Julie only for the past 15 years, but she made an impression on me. Her sense of humor and throaty laugh could lift anyone out of the doldrums. I appreciated her attitude of acceptance of anyone she came across and her fierce loyalty to her family. My thoughts and prayers are with Matt (whom I never had the opportunity to meet) and Gussy, her mother Barbara. sister Sheila, brother Jay; and the rest of her family whom I have not met, but feel I know because of her. All her pain is gone now, but her memory lingers on!

The loss of a loved one is a devastating blow. Yet, we are always reminded by our hearts – how lucky we have been to know those that we have loved .

God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around Julie and whispered "come with me".
Although you were loved so dearly, you could not stay. A golden heart stopped beating, God only takes the BEST.

Matt, Gus and family, Julie touched many hearts with her smile, compassion and understanding. May God Bless Julie and give the family strength during this sad time. We will miss Julie very much but understand the Good Lord is Cradling her and she is free of all her bodies illnesses. She is in a better place and we all will see her again some day when the good lord picks one of us to travel his kingdom.
