Rest in Peace gentle lady.

I was a student of Dr. Charles way back too long ago. She was the nicest professor I have ever known. And I always knew that if I have a problem of any kind she would be there to listen and to help as she could. I have missed her long before I learned today, that she had gone on to a better place. If I could say one last thing to her it would be this: "Thank you sincerely for being not only a great instructor, but for being my friend as well."

My sympathy to the family of Dr. Carolyn Charles. I had the great pleasure of knowing her as a valued colleague on the faculty of the University of North Alabama. She was a very kind person who had much to offer her students in counseling and assessment.

My sympathies to the family of Dr. Carolyn Charles. We worked together in psychology years ago and I found her to be unfailingly kind, generous, sincere, and a great co-worker. Indeed, she was a really nice person; it was great when she was with us.
