Im not sure if you remember me, I was married to Holly's brother Chuck. Im so sorry for your loss. It came as quite a shock to hear Holly had passed away.

Holly,
It's been almost a week and it still doesn't feel real. As the days go by I grow more accustomed to the pain but it never goes away. You left us too soon.
I stumbled into your lives so long ago lost and found unflinching love and acceptance. Your door and your arms were always open to me and you knew it from the first that I loved your son. Thank you for my husband. I live everyday loved more than the one before and I am blessed beyond words to have him. It is a great comfort to me that you were there with us that day to help us celebrate.
I will always remember the times we shared, the long talks, the hugs and your love. You always treated me as if I were your own. I love your sons, Bret, the love of my life, and Anthony, the brother of my heart and I promise to take care of them for you until my last breath.
Your loss will stay with all of us as we tread the paths our lives will lead but you will live on in our minds and our hearts forever.

I know that the thoughts are no doubt overwhelming that nothing ever will quite be the same. That certainly is true, however, soon you will have the memory of mom that will live on in your heart and mind as well as in the hearts and minds of all of us who knew and loved her. I know that it seems like a sad ending of a life, but I have faith that mom is on a wondrous journey to reap her just rewards. Hers was a good and blessed life and the happiness and joy that she brought to all of us will live on in her memory. I think that mothers are one of God's greatest blessings, and mom was no exception. Her angelic smile and sweet voice made her a joy to be around. I will miss her dearly. I LOVE YOU MOM!
