Peter Koffman Obituary

Peter B. Koffman VIRGINIA BEACH - Peter B. Koffman, P.E., 40, passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at his home. Born in Littleton, N.H., Peter was a civil engineer and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Desert Storm. He attended Spring Branch Community Church. Peter is survived by wife, Alanna D. Koffman; a daughter, Laura E. Koffman; and two sons, Christopher R. Koffman, Stephen R. Koffman, all of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by his mother, Deborah Koffman of Virginia Beach; father, Theodore Koffman and wife Joan of Maine; sister, Lindsey E. Reed and husband Michael of Virginia Beach; half sister, Bess Koffman; and half brother, Toby Koffman, both of Maine. A funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, with Chaplain Edward Bass officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. My thoughts and prayers are with Pete's family at this time. I worked with him at Baker for a short time and he was such a nice man. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have worked with Pete over the years with my job in the Planning Dept. in Norfolk. He was such a wonderful guy and will missed by many.

Peter and I were former coworkers at LandMark Design Group in Virginia Beach. His passing comes as a real shock to me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of grief.
