Frank Foster Obituary

Frank Sparks Foster Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Frank Sparks Foster Jr. died suddenly Aug. 27, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Judy Foster and the dear brother of Patricia Bechtler. He was also survived by stepchildren, Susan Dahl and her husband Pat of Minnetonka, Minn., Patricia Jones-Hermerding of Ottertail, Minn., and Charlie Jones and his wife Betsy of Excelsior, Minn.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two nephews. He was a Virginia native, the son of the late Frank Sparks Foster Sr. and Anne Turner Foster. He was predeceased by his brother, William Hill Foster. Frank was a retired master chief in the U.S. Navy and Raytheon, and a VP of Atlantic Ordinance and Gyro. He was treasurer of the Lynnhaven Masonic Lodge No. 220 AF & AM, Khedive Shrine, past president of the Virginia Beach Shrine Club, director of Khedive Ritualistic Divan, member of Chesapeake Shrine Club, and secretary of Teocalli No. 117. The celebration of life service with Masonic rites will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Thalia United Methodist Church, 4321 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452 by Dr. David Goodpasture at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Khedive Transportation Fund, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Colonial Crematorium is handling arrangements.

Frank was a really nice man and he will be greatly missed.

Condolences to the family, I know your loved one will be sadly missed by all,death is one of the hardest thingsthat we have to face in life...
staying positive and comforting one another is essential also... you can also find comfort in knowing that soon God is going to do away with the enemy death 1 Corinthians 15:26 "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing."
