Lena and I were classmates at IC Norcom and though we had not been in contact since graduation, I saw her last year as we were planning for our 20th class reunion. She hosted our first meeting. I can't believe she's not here, but I am so blessed that God allowed me to reconnect with her before He called her home. She will truly be missed. There are no words to express how I feel about the loss of Lena. She was the kind of friend that would do anything for you and keep you laughing while she was doing it. We worked together at the Post Office in Tampa and became quite good friends. May God be with her family and help them through this difficult time. I met Lena at I.C. Norcom. We were always around after school for pactices - me for tennis and Lena for softball - walking the halls. We were in different classes - class of 89 & class of 91, but we went through the peer counseling training together. I will never forget her smile.
