A year ago today....August 28th was a Saturday....At 11 minutes past 11 a.m. our long wait through the previous night was over. As boundless as my love is for you, the Lord loved you far more and He Himself brought you into His presence. To this day, I still don't know how someone like me deserved a wife so highly favored of God. I love you still......I'll miss you always.......

Dearest Brenda,
Your middle name reminds me of the light in your eyes and the big smile on your face that was contagious! I remember the times we laughed during your piano lessons until we were both bent over and snorting out loud! Don't know if I've ever laughed that hard in my life! You were a Joy to know and I will see you again my Sweet Sister!
Love,
Shelley

To my dearest Grandma Brenda. I will never forget the week we spent at Bible camp. I still have the bible you gave me all those years ago. We had so much fun baking pies while you taught me about the bible and what it means to walk with the lord. I miss you already. Tori

To my Aunt Brenda, my birthday buddy...

I will always remember your faith in Christ and your upbeat attitude. I will also remember how much you made my mom laugh. What a blessing!

A fun memory I have is when my dad and I secretly conspired with you to surprise my mom with having you come out to visit. I was in college back then and you arrived at my place, then I drove you to my parents' house. I will never forget the look of awe and joy on my mom's face when she saw you. Priceless!

Enjoy time with Jesus, Brenda. I look forward to seeing you with Him someday.

Love,

Belinda Storey

To my sis. I love you so much and didn't ever think you would be gone so soon. I miss you so much. You have been a thorn in my side as well as my funny bone. We had been through alot as sisters. I will always remember that everything ended up in laughter. I can't wait to see you. I love you.

Brenda,

It's been two weeks since you went home to be with the Lord. I love you so very much, and miss you more than you can ever know...the house is so empty without you.

Enjoy the rest the Lord Jesus is giving you.

I'll love you forever,
David

Sister Brenda,

Words cannot express how much of a person you were to me. Even though we have not fully got to know one another, your presence and your spirit is what attracted me to you. Every sunday, you would come and hug me and tell me how beautiful I was that day. That was encouraging enough. You were faithful, you never gave up of God, and he didn't give up on you. Now, you are in a much better place, but the people of CEIC will miss you so much. Thank you for everything.

You fought a good fight with amazing dignity. I learned alot as I watched you in your circumstances. You were a fine example to all of how we are to walk in love.
You will be missed very much.

Sister Brenda,
You were a one-of-a-kind special person. No one has ever touched and blessed our family like you. Your kindness and generosity made knowing you such a treat. You were a best friend to my wife (she loves you like a sister), you were the best nanny ever to my three children and they will never never forget you. And you helped us out at the church, in our business and in our home and made my life so much easier. You will be missed so much! Our whole family looks forward to the day when we see you again in heaven as you have gone before us. Thank you for being you. We love and miss you always,
Pastor Tim and the Lambert family
