Diane Sullivan Obituary

Diane Patricia Sullivan VIRGINIA BEACH - Diane Patricia Sullivan died in an auto accident Saturday afternoon while riding as a passenger in a car with friends on their way to Smith Mountain Lake for the weekend. She was airlifted to MCV where she later passed away. She was preceded in death by her brother, C. Stuart Jr. and is survived by her parents, Carter and Pat Sullivan; her aunts, Blanche Cox of Virginia Beach, Dudley Rockwell, Deborah Peckham of San Diego, Calif., and Dorothy Rumney of Euless, Texas. Her favorite places of employment were the Atlantic Shores Retirement Center and the Chesapeake Free Clinic where she was the volunteer coordinator. She was a graduate of Kempsville High School and attended Kee Business College. She was a very caring person and had many good friends. She never met a stranger and was very fond of animals. She will be greatly missed. A funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with Pastor Ron Heath officiating. The burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA. Sorry for your loss. I've known Diane for over 15 yrs, she was the most friendly person I've ever known. We use to party together at "Septembers". Now she will be partying with the Angels. Rest in Peace.
