Evelma Gainey Obituary

Evelma Gainey NORFOLK - Evelma "Boot" Gainey of the 900 block of Lexington St., entered into eternal rest Sept. 8, 2010. She was a native of Florence, S.C. She was preceded in death by husband, Herman Gainey Sr. and sons, Franklin and Russell Gainey. Survivors include daughters, Sheila and Luella Ford; sons, Kenneth and Ronald Ford, Herman Jr. and Terry Gainey and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept.14, at Enoch Baptist Church by Dr. Michael G. Daniels. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Monday at Graves Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.gravesfuneralhomeinc.com.

Mrs. Grainey, was such a nice and wonderful person, she always had a smile on her face, when I would come over for kizzy, I am going to miss u, but I know you r in a better place, and god make no mistakes, he couldn't chosen a perfect angel to be with my mom in the pearly gates.
