Alma O. Williams NORFOLK - Alma O. Williams was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Mrs. Williams was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Mahan Street, Suffolk, until recently reinstated at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Norfolk. Left to cherish her precious memory is her husband the Rev. Isaac E. Williams; a son, Isaac E. Williams Jr. (Carolyn) of Chesapeake; two sisters, Olivia Green of Fort Washington, Md., and Cynthia Smith (Willard) of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Shawne Ferguson (William) of Fort Wayne, Ind., Christie Williams Cannady (Kevin) of Riverdale, Md., and Lauren Williams of New York City; one great-grandchild, Courtney Ferguson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at noon in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 900 Middlesex St., Norfolk. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
