Thanks dad for molding me into the man which I am today. Through some of my toughest times I would think of how you were able to overcome so much adversity in your life such as living in the south and enduring the segregation and extreme prejudice, even while honorably serving your country. Yet you overcame it all to be very successfull in life. It was an honor having you as my father and an honor being your son. Thank you for all the great memories. You will be missed!
Love your son
Jeff.

Dad you will be missed. I know for sure that having you as a father was a blessing. You were never sickly and always able to do what you wanted your way until the end. I know your buddies have welcomed you, they have been waiting a long time.
Love your Son,
Junior
