To my cousin Tommy,
We were only a few months difference in age (you being the younger one) got such a kick out of teaching me how to ride a bike so many years ago.
You have left us way too soon.

My husband is the Captain on the tug Sea Eagle where Tommy served as Chief Engineer. He called me from TX the day before Tommy's passing telling me the illness had progressed rapidly. He was filled with sorrow for Tommy & your family. The following day he called to tell me Tommy had passed and I can assure you the entire crew is in deep mourning at his loss. He also sent a picture of Tommy standing on the deck of the tug.
There are terms we ocean-going tug families know quite well. I can tell you Tommy's 'channel fever' has subsided and he's well and 'under way' toward that Heavenly destination. God Bless you.
