Thomas Richards Obituary

Thomas E. Richards VIRGINIA BEACH - Thomas Eugene Richards, 82, passed away Oct. 3, 2010. He was the son of the late Joseph and Effie Richards. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired as a lieutenant commander. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Mary Richards; 10 children, Regina Farris, Rita Padgett, Joseph Richards, Cletus Saint Bauer, Rose Anna St. Pierre, Robert Richards, Roman Richards, Virginia Gail Richards, Martin Richards and Angela Driggers; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Wednesday day, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to noon with a memorial service to start at noon in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250 or Virginia Beach SPCA, 3040 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23453 Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com.
