Genevieve Goodson NORFOLK - Genevieve Goodson, 89, of the 8100 block of Beatty St., passed away Sept. 30, 2010 in her home. A native of Bluefield, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Hamilton and Hattie Lusk and the widow of Roy L. Goodson. She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Lowder, Catherine Bowden and Brenda Ploeger and husband Fred; grandchildren, Ernest C. Mangus III and wife Kristy, Christine Thurber, Chester Thurber Jr., Scott Thurber, Freddie Ploeger and wife Kristin, Kayla Ploeger, Tanner Ploeger and Noah Ploeger; great-grandchildren, Cassie Mangus, Hollie Mangus, Daniel Mangus, Cory Mangus, Aaron Mangus, Amanda Medeiros and Gregory Samuel; and great- grandchildren, Jeremiah Van Horne, Madison Mcinnerney and Skylee Ploeger. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. The burial will be private.
