Charles Fuller Obituary

Charles W. Fuller CHESAPEAKE - Charles W. Fuller, 63, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 6, 1947 in Centralia, Ill., the son of the late Leslie H. and Margie Chambers Fuller. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was retired from the U.S. Navy having served for 24 years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue; his daughter, Christa and husband Larry Hendren of Virginia Beach; his two sons, Bryan Fuller and Todd and wife Luce Fuller, both of Chesapeake; his five grandchildren, Zak, McKenzie, Abby, Mia and Annabelle. Also surviving are his three sisters, Rhonda Beal, Terry Sheridan and Jill Johnson; and his two brothers, Roger and Jack Fuller, all of Illinois. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, 23434. Pastor Neal Polaske will officiate. Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the graveside service in the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, 23322. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.
