Myrick Carmichael

Myrick E. Carmichael NORFOLK - Myrick Eugene Carmichael, 59, of the 6900 block of Doummar Drive, passed away Oct. 13, 2010 in his home. A native of Mobile, Ala., he was the son of the late Monroe Carmichael. He retired from the United States Navy as a PO1 and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Reyes Carmichael; three daughters, Kimberly Carmichael, Jacklyn Salazar and Amy Stewart; two sons, David A. Carmichael and Eric S. Carmichael; his mother, Janette Carmichael; a brother, Darrell Carmichael; a sister, Sharron Carmichael and six grandchildren, Tyrique Hamment, Daryl Stewart Jr., Marcus Cook, Delano Cook, Sadie Stewart and Zachariah Carmichael. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic church with Fr. Venancio Balarote Jr. officiating. The burial with military honors will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
