Calvin Mabine Obituary

Calvin Mabine CHESAPEAKE - Calvin "Bo" Mabine, 46, of the 2800 block of Meadow Wood Drive East, passed away Oct. 12, 2010. He was born Feb. 4, 1964 in Ahoskie, N.C. Calvin was a 1982 graduate of Norview High School. He was a member of Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church and was formerly employed with McKee Foods as an independent distributor. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Mabine; five daughters, Tiona, Marquita, Kristen, Zenobia and Jovan; parents, Jean and George Mabine Sr.; two sisters, Deborah and Tammy; four brothers, Vernon, George, Curtis and Thomas; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church, 1317 E. Brambleton Ave. The Rev. Dr. Kirk T. Houston will officiate. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel, is in charge. www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
