David Wayne Moyers COURTLAND - David Wayne Moyers, 47, of Courtland, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Dorothy and Lonnie Donald Moyers. Mr. Moyers was formerly employed by Lee White Trucking Company in Franklin. He was a member of the Million Mile Trucker. Mr. Moyers is survived by his sister, Wanda Johnson and husband Richard of Suffolk; and Debbie Carr and husband Emory also of Suffolk; brother, Randy Moyers and wife Beth of Hopewell, Va.; and beloved fiancée, Brenda Davis of Courtland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA 23435, on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Gary Vaughan. The family will receive friends today, Oct. 18, from 7 to 8 p.m. in R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434.
