Vernell Williams-Jones Obituary

Vernell Williams-Jones NORFOLK - Vernell C. Williams-Jones of the 400 block of Rogers Ave., died Oct. 17, 2010 at her residence. She retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Terminal after 28 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Jones; a daughter, LaToya Williams; three sons, Jervonne Williams, Keenon Williams and Donté Williams; mother, Doris Mullen; sister, Sharon Williams; brother, Aaron Williams (Katherine); eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Lannie Williams; son, Maurio Williams; and a sister, Evangeline Brown. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, in Restoration Kingdom Church, 4035 E. Oceanview Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Homes Chapel, Norfolk, is in charge. The remains will be ready for viewing today from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the procession.

Mrs Doris, You know we do not have to worry about Vernell because she's with the FATHER probably making HIM laugh and dance. She was and always will be my Sister. We will see her again and you keep your head up and think on the good things because GOD loves her more than we ever can. GOD Bless You and continue to PUSH.(Praise Until Something Happens.
