When I first heard what I thought was just going to be a health scare, I kept Ray in constant prayer. My mind never fathom, he would leave us this soon. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I first joined the Navy through a dear Buddy & brother of his (Tony J.) who loved him dearly. And from there...he became a Mentor for me and my Brother once I came into the Chief ranks. I know the wonderful impact he made on everybody that crossed his path; Therefore, I certainly know he was a treasured jewel & blessing to his family. I cannot imagine the loss Mrs. Ellison and the family feel but I do believe they have to feel blessed, that GOD gave them Ray for his time here on earth. And it is my sincere hope that those memories, help them to endure and sustain.
My sincerest Condolences and praying for you peace.

My deepest condolences to Ray's family. May God bless you and provide you comfort during this sad time. Ray it was a great honor to have you as a friend my brother!!! I can still see your smiling face today as I use to when I would visit from across the street to say hello to all my friends in N41 and others codes. I will miss you my friend, but I know God has other plans for you. Until we meet again, REST IN PEACE!!!

My deepest condolences to the family of this great man. I worked with him at Commander Naval Air Force Atlantic and I can tell you the staff here miss him dearly. As a member of the MWR committee here, he always suppported us at our pizza sales. Even when he was being 'good' and eating a salad- he would buy a slice. It may seem small, but it meant alot to our committee. May God Bless your family.

Ray - missing you. Always had a smile on your face and I loved how you would talk trash about the Cowboys - we all love and miss you here at work. I know that you are in a better place - now you and Johnny can continue your trash talking about the Cowboys and Redskins. RIP my friend. See you on the other side. Tuesday Randolph (Va Beach)
