Sheila Lowell Obituary

Sheila Ann Lowell CORAPEAKE - Sheila Ann Lowell, 57, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010 in Gates County, North Carolina. She was a native of Norfolk, and had made her home in Corapeake for the past six years. She was of the Christian faith. Surviving is her husband of 20 years, David Lanier Lowell; three sons, Walter B. Byers Jr. of Corapeake, Wesley B. Byers of Florida and Robert Shawn Bailey of Virginia; two daughters, Melani Lebaud of Norfolk and Sarah Barbara of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Paulette Sanders and Helen Baker, both of Norfolk, Madeline Hunter of Virginia Beach; and seven grandchildren and many friends. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, where a funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will be private. Condolences may be offered online at www.woodlawngroup.com.

David & Family, I am so sorry to hear about Sheila..she was a awesome person she will be missed.

David and family. I am so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. She was good friend to my cousin Diana and myself. She was our first friend when we moved to Virginia. She could light up any room, and was a joy to be around. My condolences.
