"Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way."

You are the legacy of your grandfather's love and joy. Be assured that comforting memories will replace your sorrow. Live your lives as he would have wanted and you will always be at peace.
Love to you all,

Dear Peggy, John Ralph, Karen, Meg, and Roberta, I am so sorry to hear of Rev. Wrights passing. It has been many years since we have seen each other, but I have always treasured the memories of being with your family in Edinburg. It's amazing how God brings us together again because I have lived in Mechanicsville for seven years now and did not know that you were here also. I hope to be able to come Saturday for the visitation. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Peggy, Karen, Meg, John Ralph, & Roberta & Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Rev. Wright. I have many fond memories of him (and your family including babysitting for all four of the "children" when I was a teenager). My mother and father thought very highly of both of you, Peggy & Rev. Wright and I still remember the laughter coming from the dining room on the night of those bridge games. He also married Richard & I and although that did not turn out so well, from that God gave me Angela and 3 wonderful grandchildren. You all will be in my prayers. Love, Margie Hisey

It was a pleasure serving with Ed in the Virginia Conference. His last "appointment" is to the Church Eternal. He shall be missed here by those of us who served with him and had the good fortune of counting him as a friend and colleague.

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Rev. Dr. Wright. He was my high school physics teacher. I will always remember his good humor, kindness, and gentle approach. More of us should strive to follow his example. His impression on many lives is a lasting, positive one.
