Virginia Wampler Obituary

Virginia H. Wampler VIRGINIA BEACH - Virginia Anne Harmon Wampler, 61, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2010. She was born in Lexington, S.C., the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Harvey J. Harmon Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald A. Wampler Sr.; her children, Melissa M. Jernigan and her husband Stephen, Tara R. Spivey, Megan S. Shelman, Jason Walker and his wife Susan, Ronald A. Wampler Jr., Richard J. Wampler and his wife Ronnie; 10 grandchildren, all of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her brothers, Harvey J. Harmon III, James Michael Harmon, both of Lexington, S.C., John Paul Harmon of Simpsonville, S.C.; and her sister, Linda Susan Wilson and her husband John of Newberry, S.C. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. A second memorial service to follow in Lexington, S.C. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be made at www.hdoliver.com.
