Tiyo, you will always hold a special place in my heart. As my student at Granby High School, I adopted you as my son. Life was not easy for you during those years, however you were strong enough to survive all of the obstacles placed before you at such a young age. I last saw you when my daughter and I came to visit you when you lived in Ocean View over ten years ago. We loss contact after that. I often thought of you and kept you in my prayers. I am hurting because your life is gone at such a young age and I don't know if you ever found peace in your life and if you accepted Christ as your Savior. I still have the Bible you gave to me (11-17-94). If I find your oldest child I will see that he or she gets it so they will have something with your writing in it. May God keep you in perfect peace until we all meet again. Ms. Wagner

I remember Tiyo as my little next door neighbor in Tidewater Park on Mariner Street. His smile and laughter is vivid in my heart and mind.

I have not spoken to you in years, though I often thought of you and recently spoke about you when you cut your dreads off. Your laughter remains vivid in my mind I give my condolences to the family and I hope you rest in everlasting peace.
