He was a member of the VFW and a lifelong member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church. Albert was the chief engineer along with his beloved father of the famed Monticello Hotel in Norfolk for many years and also served the fine State of Virginia as a journeyman and master plumber. He was an avid gardener and shared much of his fresh produce with friends and neighbors through the years. He graciously cared for his family throughout his life and lived in the family home his father built at 3116 Verdun Ave. in Norfolk. He was the most wonderful chef, always preparing the turkey and Smithfield ham for all the family and friends to perfection for them to enjoy, along with the famous Christmas eggnog. He always welcomed all to his home for a visit and to partake in meals together. He had great faithfulness and will be truly missed.
