Lucille Harris Obituary

Lucille S. Harris NORFOLK - Lucille Shoffner Harris, 82, of the 1300 block of Kingston Ave., died Nov. 21, 2010, in her home. She was born in Wake County, North Carolina, and loved fishing for many years at Harrison's Fishing Pier and teeing off with her husband George at Eagle Haven Golf Couse. Lucille is survived by two sons, Allen C. Harris and wife Margaret of Amarillo, Texas and Ron W. Harris and wife Anji of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Alicia, Taylor, Allison and Benjamin; and two great- grandchildren, Phoenix and Rivers. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clifton Harris; her mother, Daisy Ball Aldridge; and a sister, Virginia. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Suite 404, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
